Our Facility in Wildomar, California
Six beds in a private home in southwest Riverside County. Not a campus, not a clinic — a house, which is deliberate.
A house, not an institution
Dunn Recovery is a six-bed residential facility in Wildomar, close to Murrieta, Temecula and Lake Elsinore.
Six beds means the same staff and the same faces every day. It means the person answering the phone knows whether there is space tonight. And it means you are a person here rather than a number on a census sheet.
Six beds is the reason we can answer questions about tonight, rather than about a waitlist.
Inside the house
Shared living space, a full kitchen, and private bathrooms.
Treatment happens in a home rather than a facility corridor. People eat together, sit together and share the space, which is a large part of how residential treatment does its work.

Bedrooms
Rooms vary. Some have a single bed, others have two. With six beds in the house, we’ll tell you on the phone what’s available before you arrive.
Each room has a window, a closet and a bedside table. Simple rather than clinical.
Meals
Meals are prepared on site and eaten together. Nutrition matters in early recovery, and so does sitting down at a table with other people rather than eating alone.
Outdoor space
The house has a pool, a shaded seating area and a hot tub.
Time outside is part of the daily routine rather than an amenity. Southwest Riverside County is warm most of the year, and being able to sit outside makes a difference during the harder days of early treatment.

What we are licensed for
Two levels of care, and we will not tell you about any others.
- Detoxification — managing withdrawal safely as the first stage of treatment.
- Residential treatment — living on site through a structured program of therapy and group work.
Dunn Recovery is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services, license #330221AP, and accredited by The Joint Commission. Both are public records — the numbers and how to check them are on our licensing and accreditation page.
We do not provide outpatient treatment or sober living. If that is what you need, call us anyway and we will try to point you somewhere that does.
Who a small facility suits
Worth being honest about, because a six-bed house is not right for everyone.
It works well if
- You would find a large facility overwhelming
- You want to know the people looking after you
- You need to start quickly rather than join a waitlist
- A home setting feels more manageable than a clinical one
It may not be right if
- You need a level of medical care beyond detox and residential
- You are looking for outpatient treatment or sober living
- You need in-network insurance coverage — we are out of network with all carriers
Call and describe the situation. If we are not the right place, we will say so rather than take a day off you.
Insurance and payment
Dunn Recovery is out of network with all insurance providers.
We work with most PPO plans on an out-of-network basis and offer free benefit checks by phone. Payment plans are available.
Come and see it for yourself
Call and ask anything — what a day looks like, what you can bring, whether there is space tonight. Our admissions line is answered by a person, twenty-four hours a day.
